Roots to Health: Chiropractic Consultation /Demo with Dr. Jennifer Yeung

Chiropractic: is a form of health care that focuses on the relationship between the body's structure, primarily of the spine, and function. Chiropractors use a type of hands-on therapy called manipulation (or adjustment) as their core clinical procedure. Adjustment is passive joint movement beyond the normal range of motion.
The basic concepts of chiropractic can be described as:
• The body has a powerful self-healing ability
• The body's structure (primarily that of the spine) and its function are closely related, and this relationship affects health
• Chiropractic therapy is given with the goals of normalizing this relationship between structure and function and assisting the body as it heals

Dr. Jennifer Yeung graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1998 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto. She was the owner and operator of the Allan Gardens Wellness Centre in Toronto from 1999 until 2007, when she decided to stay home with her 2 young daughters. Dr. Yeung is excited to now be part of the healthcare team at Rosedale Roots to Health. She practices chiropractic using manual as well as low force techniques, and works with patients of all ages, including children and pregnant women.
